Today 5/11, we celebrate the richness of the Romani language, an essential part of Roma identity, culture, history, and collective memory.
Language is more than a means of communication. It carries stories, traditions, knowledge, and the voices of generations. Preserving and promoting the Romani language is a vital step towards strengthening cultural heritage, fostering inclusion, and ensuring that Roma communities continue to thrive and be heard.
At PAL Network, we are proud to celebrate Roma culture and language through our work and initiatives, including projects such as ROMDIEM, Resilient Threads, GIRL, and many others that empower Roma communities, support participation, and promote cultural recognition.
On this International Romani Language Day, we reaffirm our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the protection of Roma cultural heritage.
