Turning Awareness into Action: Objectives of the AntiGypsyism Project

At PAL Network, we believe real change starts with knowledge, collaboration, and empowerment. Through the AntiGypsyism– Gamification to Combat Discrimination Towards Roma project, we are working towards:

Strengthening the knowledge and skills of youth workers and young people to recognise, prevent, and address antigypsyism as a specific form of racism.

Enhancing cooperation between young people, youth workers, and Roma mediators in health and education to better identify, respond to, and report discrimination—both online and offline.

Raising awareness about the structural, widespread, and persistent discrimination faced by Roma communities, while actively challenging stereotypes and negative narratives.

Developing and promoting innovative, gamified educational tools—including a training manual and a board game—to support inclusive and impactful youth work.

Building the capacity of youth workers to apply participatory and gamified approaches that boost engagement, critical thinking, and motivation among young people.

Empowering young people to become active advocates of tolerance, equality, and human rights—driving social inclusion and reducing discrimination at every level.

Together, we’re not just learning—we’re creating tools and communities that stand up against discrimination.
