The present policy brief is an outcome of the works of the Social Inclusion and Diversity Working Group of PAL Network and presents findings from a comparative desk analysis in six member countries of the network, namely Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Spain and Türkiye, and a qualitative survey among 30 practitioners, NGOs representatives and public-sector representatives across nine European countries. Together, these sources provide a coherent, field informed overview of the challenges faced by marginalized children and highlight multi-level policy actions required to address these challenges.
