The RAINBOW BRIDGES “Youth Training Handbook for SOGIESC-responsive Career Guidance” is a practical resource designed to help youth workers, educators, and career counselors provide SOGIESC-responsive career guidance for LGBTQIA+ young people. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical tools, case studies, role-playing exercises, and trainer guidance to build professionals’ capacity to create inclusive, rights-based, and trauma-informed career guidance environments. It is organized into 4 training modules:
•Module 1: Introduction to LGBTQIA+ Terminology and Lived Experiences
•Module 2: Legal Rights and Anti-Discrimination Protections for LGBTQIA+ Youth
•Module 3: Coming Out in the Workplace: Decision-Making & Employer Assessment
•Module 4: Addressing Discrimination & Micro-aggressions in Career Guidance Settings
