The opening of the new social structure of the Municipality of Ambelokipoi-Menemeni , the Community Center, took place on the morning of Monday 11/12 with the Romani Branch. The Community Center runs from Monday to Friday, 08: 00-16: 00 and has three main axes:
- Reception -Information – Support for citizens
- Collaboration with Services and Structures
- Provision of Services aimed at improving the standard of living and ensuring the social integration of the beneficiaries
The inauguration of both sites was honored with the presence of the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the Vice-Governor of Metropolitan Unity of Thessaloniki Voula Patoulidou, the Members of the Municipality of Thessaloniki Stavros Kalafatis and Ioannis Saridis, the Mayor of Ampelokipon-Menemeni Lazaros Kyrizoglou, Municipal Council of the Municipality.
The Community Center with Roma Annex is operational since May 25, 2017 and is co-funded by the ESF under OP. Central Macedonia Region 2014-2010, Axis 09B – Promoting Social Inclusion and Combating Poverty.
